Christmas Dinner: 2nd December 2011
Alanis Morissette sang, with a fair amount of success, a song about irony. What has that got to do with the first post of this blog, which I hope can become a community forum for our little village?
Well, coming from a self proclaimed Heathen, I have made it my mission to raise funds to help out our Church which has been feeling the pinch financially in recent months. To me, this is by no means a religious crusade, but more a crusade of community. You cannot deny the glorious focal point the Church imposes on our village. With the ever gracious Vicar, Robert Fletcher, at the helm, as a community, regardless of faith, we should stand united and ensure the future of the Church remains a strong one.
